Dr. Sherbondy believes you deserve a psychiatrist who actually knows you. From the first visit, you'll find someone who takes the time to listen, asks the right questions, and remembers the details that matter to your care.
He earned his MD from Loma Linda University School of Medicine and completed his residency and fellowship at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. He treats adults, teenagers, and children for depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, panic disorder, OCD, ADHD, and addiction — with board certification in general psychiatry, child & adolescent psychiatry, and addiction medicine.

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
An Upstate SC native and dual board-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 14+ years in the medical field. Sarah earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at USC and her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Clemson, then completed post-graduate psychiatric training at Wilkes University. She serves all ages, treating ADHD, depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, OCD, and more. As the wife of a Marine Corps veteran and a mother of four, Sarah believes in meeting patients where they are while empowering them to achieve meaningful, lasting change.
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
A board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a Master of Science in Nursing and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the Medical University of South Carolina. Melissa brings a background in family medicine to better understand her patients' total health. She treats ADHD, anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder, offering a safe, judgment-free space. Currently accepting patients 18 and older.
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
A compassionate psychiatric nurse practitioner with over 12 years in mental health. Angie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Psychiatric Mental Health from Wilkes University. She works with adults across the lifespan, treating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and schizophrenia, and is an active member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association.
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Catherine is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a strong foundation in both nursing practice and nursing education. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Clinical Nurse Leadership from the University of South Carolina Upstate, and later completed her Post-Graduate Certificate in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner studies through the University of South Carolina.
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Hanna is a dual board-certified Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about helping patients feel heard, supported, and empowered in their mental health journey. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Clemson University before completing her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner, and later earned her Post-Master's Certificate as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the Medical University of South Carolina.
Physician Assistant
Keith earned his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2009 and has practiced in psychiatry since 2015. He sees adolescent and adult patients for psychiatric evaluations and medication management, including bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, and ADHD.
Therapist
A licensed marriage and family therapist with an Educational Specialist degree from Converse College. Wendy works with children, teens, and adults — individuals, couples, and families — treating depression, anxiety, anger, and school behavioral concerns using a family-systems approach that draws on cognitive-behavioral, collaborative, and solution-focused therapy.
Nurse Practitioner
Madison is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner joining Sherbondy's Psychiatric Solutions following her graduation in August from the Medical University of South Carolina, where she earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Originally from Greenville, South Carolina, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Clemson University. Madison is passionate about mental health and is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based, patient-centered care. She is excited to begin her career at Sherbondy's Psychiatric Solutions and looks forward to welcoming and caring for adult patients later this year.
Nurse Practitioner
Morgan is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner joining Sherbondy's Psychiatric Solutions after earning her Master of Science in Nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Clemson University, where she also completed a minor in Psychology. Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Morgan worked as a registered nurse on an adult medical-surgical unit. She is passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care and looks forward to caring for adult patients through individualized, patient-centered treatment.
Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
Halley is a board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who has devoted her career to pediatrics, earning her BSN from The University of Texas at Austin and her MSN as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from the University of Illinois Chicago. A registered nurse since 2008 and a PNP since 2013, she provides compassionate, evidence-based behavioral health care for children and adolescents — treating ADHD, anxiety, depression, and more. As a mother of three, she partners closely with families to help every child thrive.
Office Manager
Tammy has been the office manager for more than twenty years and is truly the backbone of the practice. She oversees the day-to-day operations that keep everything running, supporting the providers and staff while making sure the practice serves its patients well. Her experience and steady dedication are at the heart of how the office runs.
Front Office Coordinator
Paula is often the first friendly face you'll see when you arrive. As our Front Office Coordinator, she welcomes every patient, manages the front desk, and helps with check-in, scheduling, and questions about your visit — making sure you feel comfortable and cared for from the moment you walk in.
Administrative Assistant
Corynn provides administrative support throughout the practice, helping keep day-to-day operations organized and running smoothly. Whether she's coordinating paperwork or lending a hand to patients and staff, she's dedicated to making sure everything runs seamlessly behind the scenes.

Our cash-pay rates are competitive — and often more affordable — than other practices in the Upstate, especially considering Dr. Sherbondy's triple board certification and thirty-plus years of experience.
Typical Upstate rate: $350
A comprehensive first visit, including full history and a personalized plan.
Ongoing medication management and counseling visits.
In-network insurance: BlueCross BlueShield of SC, Cigna, Tricare, and Medicaid of SC — including the Molina Healthcare, Absolute Total Care, and Select Health of SC managed-care plans. We also welcome self-pay patients and accept HSA/FSA accounts. Please call to verify your coverage before your visit.
